Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an inclination adjusting metal fixture which is built of parts in a simplest possible manner and allows the even loading of parts with teeth engaged with each other while achieving a resistance to collision so as to keep them engaged as intact in collision accidents.
SOLUTION: In the inclination adjusting metal fixture for the partial area of, for example, a back rest part 9 of the car seat, a first metal fixture part 2 is connected firmly to a first partial area 9a while a second metal fixture part 4 to a second partial area 9a. Both the partial areas 9a and 9b are connected together made turnable centered on a common turning axis 3 while the second metal fixture part 4 is supported on the second partial area 9b so as to be turnable centered on the axis 4a parallel with the turning axis 3 and held being retained using a lock anchor 5. Under such an engaged state, a part 4b with a tooth of the second metal fixture part 4 stays engaged with the mating part 2a of the first metal fixture part 2. Angles α and γof engagement of tooth faces receiving loads in the collision accidents decrease with an increasing interval from the axis 4a at the part 4b with a tooth of the first metal fixture part 4 and at the mating part 2a with a tooth complimentary thereto.
