PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclined baffle plate type wave killing structure, a structure installed so as to provide a calm sea area at a coastal area, which has a low reflective function with seawater permeability, reduces impulsive wave force at the rear side of the inclined baffle plate of the wave killing structure.
SOLUTION: An inclined baffle plate type wave killing structure 1 with openings is fixed to piles or jackets supported by multiple piles 6 driven into a sea bed, with a steel or concrete baffle plate 2 having a row of openings sloped upgrade from the sea side to the land side, the sea side made to submerge below troughs at low tide, the land side made to rise above an average tide level. And then impulsive wave force generated in the baffle plate 2 is reduced by forming rows of openings 3 of multiple openings 4 constituting an opening ratio of 2 to 20% along the surface of the baffle plate submerging between the low tide and the high tide, allowing waves to pass the rows of openings 3 from behind the inclined baffle plate 2 toward the sea side at the ebbing tide.
