Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dirt adhering to a window glass by providing a cloth member material or the like producing a capillary phenomenon along the outer peripheral face of the downstream side horizontal frame of an inclined skylight, and providing a cover on the upper side of the cloth member to be fixed on the downstream side horizontal frame.
SOLUTION: A hollow window frame is formed of a vertical frame and a horizontal frame 11, 12, a groove part 13 is provided on the inner peripheral face of the window frame to attach a window glass 2, and an inclined skylight 's formed. A cloth 3 producing a capillary phenomenon is provided along the outer peripheral face of a part of the horizontal frame 11, the upper end of the cloth 3 is brought into contact with the window glass 2, and the lower end is brought into contact with a roof 6 continuous to the downstream side of the horizontal frame 11. Next, a U-shaped cover 4 is provided on the upper end of the cloth 3, machine screws are screwed in a plurality of machine screw holes provided in the cover 4, and the cloth 3 is fixed on the horizontal frame 11. Next, when it rains, rainwater gathers in a step part, and the upper end of the cloth 3 is in a state where it is submerged in the rainwater, which moves to flow out to the downstream side from the inside of the cloth 3 by the capillary phenomenon of the cloth 3. Thus, the rainwater collected in the skylight can be quickly discharged.
