Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the setting or the like of each part of an inclined type screen device, and also while the upsizing of the whole equipment is avoided to the utmost, to heighten the filtration treating capacity of the inclined type screen device.
SOLUTION: There are provided a screen 4 formed into a funnel or an approximate cone in which the nearer to the lower side, the larger the inner diameter and having many holes made in the peripheral wall surface thereof, and a raw water feeding means 1 for causing raw water to flow into the screen 4 along the tangential direction or the peripheral direction of the screen 4 so that it may flow downwards while being turned along the inner peripheral wall surface 40a of the screen 4.
