Abstract:
To produce an indenopyridine and an indenopyrimidine compounds useful as a medicine and to provide an advantageous method for producing the compounds.
The indenopyridine and indenopyrimidine compounds are represented by the general formula (1) [wherein R1 denotes hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl or the like; m denotes 0 or an integer of 1-4; X denotes CH2 or C(=O); Y denotes N or CH; R2 and R3 denote each hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group or the like, R4 denotes phenyl group, a heterocyclic group or the like which may be substituted; R5 denotes carboxy group, a 1-6C alkylcarbonyl group, a carbamoyl group, a heterocyclic group or the like which may be substituted]. The method for producing the same is provided.
