An indicator body is provided with a moving tread 3 having many cleat grooves 3B in one direction of the front surface and a base plate on the bottom of the cleat grooves 3B, and a comb plate 4 provided between the moving tread 3 and a getting on/off floor 2. A display body of a walking shoe pattern indicator body 3a indicative of the walking position of a passenger is provided on one side (in the range of W1) in the width direction of a step surface 3A of the moving tread 3, and the color of the indicator bodies 3a is made different from that of the step surface 3A to indicate the section. The walking shoe pattern indicator body 3a is cleaned by a clearing device 8 provided on the comb plate 4 part.
