Abstract:

PURPOSE: To permit decorating of patterns on a protective mesh sheet through direct printing such as screen printing or the like by a method wherein color patterns and letters, consisting of a printed layer and a bonding layer, which are formed of a different medium once, are transferred to the protective mesh sheet by screen printing through pressurizing and the like.

CONSTITUTION: Upon printing on a protective mesh sheet 4, seen at working site such as a building site, road construction site and the like, patterns such as the letters of safety first and the mark of (+), for example, are printed on a substrate, provided with a separating layer 6 on a polyester film 7, by rear lettering of the printing letters 2 through screen printing while the bonding layer 3 of 150μm, same as said patterns or slightly larger letters, is printed through screen printing. The substrate is dried for two minutes at 100°C and, thereafter, the bonding layer 3 is put on the protective mesh sheet 4 to print indirectly on the protective mesh sheet 4 through pressurizing by a hot press machine for 20 seconds at 180°C. Accordingly to this method, the color patterns, letters and the like can be reproduced on the protective mesh sheet 4 in the same style without being transparent.
