Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain satisfactory solid print with inconspicuous gradation in pad printing.
CONSTITUTION: In pad printing in which ink applied to the inside of an indented part 5 of an intaglio is transferred to a pad and the ink transferred to the pad is transferred further to a matter on which printing is made, the indented part 5 is divided by white line screens 11...11 into a number of cells 12...12. Then, the width (x) for each of the white line screens 11...11 is set as 0.05mm or below, and the width (y) for each of the cells 12...12 is set as 0.1mm or more. A percentage of the total area of the cells 12...12 to the indented part 5 is set as 70%.
