An indoor light for a vehicle includes: the light source arranged in a lighting fixture body 100; a translucent cover 200 having a translucent part 210 for transmitting light emitted toward an inside of a cabin from the light source and allowing a translucent conductive film to be formed at least at a part of a surface on the light chamber side in the translucent part 210; and a lighting state controller 400 connected with the translucent conductive film and controlling the lighting state of the light source by detecting the capacitance formed between the translucent conductive film and a contact body through contact of the contact body with a surface at the cabin side of the translucent part 210. The translucent cover 200 has extension parts 261, 262, 263 extended to a lateral side of a lighting fixture from a circumferential edge part 220 surrounding the translucent part 210, and a part of the translucent conductive film is extended and formed till the extension parts 261, 262, 263 and is electrically connected with the lighting state controller 400.
