To control a desk lamp and a ceiling lamp in the lump from the position of the desk lamp, by using the local-lighting desk lamp as a place to put a remote control switch for the ceiling lamp.

A desk lamp 10 is provided and installed in a room. At least one ceiling lamp 20 is provided and installed in the same room. A direct operating switch 30 for controlling the desk lamp 10 is disposed on a base 11 of the desk lamp 10. A remote control switch 41 for remote-controlling the ceiling lamp 20 is disposed on the base 11 of the desk lamp 10. The difference between the direct operating switch 30 and the remote control switch 41 lies in that the one directly opens/closes an electric circuit and the latter indirectly open/ closes an electric circuit via a control signal of infrared rays, or the like. The desk lamp 10 and the ceiling lamp 20 are turned on/off or dimmed by operating them. The remote control switch 41 has the same meaning as a remote control transmitter.
