Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating coil capable of preventing reverse bending in the case of the induction hardening of a metallic member approx. U-shaped in cross section and extending in a predetermined direction.
SOLUTION: Second conductor portions 50, 52 extending in the arrow sign A direction in a protruding state outside tilting downward are formed at the respective lower ends of first and second parallel portions 46, 48 extending in the arrow sign A direction. One plate like first conductor portion 54 is fitted onto the outer wall faces of both leg portions 22, 32 in parallel to the first parallel portion 46, and one plate like first conductor portion is fitted onto the outer wall faces of both leg portions 24, 34 in parallel to the second parallel portion 48.
