To provide a heating cooker which includes a luminous operation part without decrease in sensitivity of a touch key.
An induction heating cooker comprises: a plate 3 arranged on a top face of a body 2; heating means heating a pan that is a heating object; and a top face operation part 9 provided on the plate 3 for setting a heating condition of the heating means. The top face operation part 9 includes a key part formed by printing of punched characters and figures on the plate 3; an electrode 36 provided under the plate 3 and having penetrating holes 36a, which detects change in capacitance; and a light source 76 provided under the electrode 36, for illuminating the printing printed in the key part through the holes 36a of the electrode 36. The electrode 36 further includes, on a lateral face of each of the holes 36a, a through hole 77 with plating electrically connected with the electrode 36.
