Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable obtaining a gear ratio of a variator when a clutch between the variator and a drive wheel is released to execute inertia travel control.SOLUTION: A controller 30 executes inertia travel control in which an engine 2 is stopped and a forward clutch 7 is released, in inertia travel in which there is no acceleration request from a driver. The controller 30 also shifts the forward clutch 7 intermittently from a release state to a slip state while stopping the engine 2, in the inertia travel control.
