Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel information display device capable of giving a user identical operational feeling between applications.SOLUTION: A vessel information display device can execute a first application which displays an object around an own vessel as a circular information image on the basis of a signal from a radar antenna and a second application which displays a nautical chart around the own vessel as a rectangular information image on the basis of positional information from a GPS receiver. When executing the first application, the vessel information display device displays: the circular information image in a predetermined rectangular display region on a display screen; and predetermined menu items 30, 31, and 35 in the display region outside the information image. When executing the second application, the vessel information display device displays: the rectangular information image in an entire area of the display region; and the menu items 30, 31, and 35 on the nautical chart around the own vessel. Display positions of the menu items in the display screen are almost identical between the first and second applications.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
