Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution system that allows a user to simply distribute information in a form of a Web page even when the user is not familiar with a personal computer and a program language.
SOLUTION: The information distribution system is provided with a Web server 2 including: an information reception section that receives, via a communication network, information obtained by a FAX 1 which reads paper having the information an information provider desires to provided described thereon; an information analysis section that extracts information to be registered from the information received by the information reception section; and a database 20 that registers the information extracted by the information analysis section. The information registered in the database 20 can be browsed as a Web page. Furthermore, the paper sheet has a 1st area on which information which an information provide desires to provide is described and a 2nd area on which a retrieval keyword is described. The information analysis section captures the information on the 1st area as image data and analyzes the contents of the retrieval keyword from the information of the 2nd area and registers the image data the retrieval keyword to the database by correlating them with each other.
