Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an information processing device itself to control a plurality of power source devices connected to the information processing device as input power sources, even if there is no other control device.
SOLUTION: A UPS monitoring part 51 monitors each state of UPS2-1 and UPS2-2, based on information sent from each of UPS2-1 and UPS2-2 connected to the information processing device 1 and received by a UPS communication part 29. Based on the monitored result, a UPS control part 53 generates control information for controlling at least part of state of the UPS2-1 and UPS2-2, controls the UPS communication part 29 to send the control information to the UPS2-1 and/or UPS2-2 which are to be controlled. The present invention can be applied for a computer having a redundant power supply function.
