PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device for properly managing network connections.SOLUTION: An information processing device has an input unit for accepting a user's instruction, a communication unit for performing the connection to a network, a storage unit for storing a profile and OS, and a processor for controlling the input unit, the communication unit and the storage unit. The profile contains identification information for identifying the network, and attribute information representing an attribute inherent to the network. OS transits between at least two states of a sleep state and a non-sleep state. In a case where OS is in the sleep state, the processor controls the communication unit so that a network which does not require any user's instruction is connected to the input unit while a network which requires a user's instruction is not connected to the input unit when the connection to a network identified on the basis of the identification information of the profile is established.
