To provide an image-printing vending device printing images taken by a digital camera or the like and capable of changing the settings of fixed information, e.g. the name of a shop to be printed on a receipt, executing special maintenance and inspection such as maintenance of the device, and easily control ling the device, as for upgrading the version of the control ROM of the device.

Information to be printed on a receipt, such as the name and address of the shop and a message or the like, is stored in a memory 5. A main controller 6 reads this information from the memory 5 and prints the receipt using a receipt printer 8. If the location of an information-processing vending machine is changed, changed data are inputted via a media interface (media I/F) 7 to modify information stored in the memory 5. In this case, a variety of storage media such as PC cards and floppy discs are usable and the changed data is read from the storage media for use.
