Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device capable of eliminating a sound piece at the time of reproduction.
SOLUTION: When data D (S1) contain errors at the time of reading data at an address S2 on a MD(Mini Disk), a flag ERR at the address S2 is set to 1, and the contents of a flag ERR at the precedent address S1 are decided. When this is 0, retrials are performed prescribed times at the address S2. When the error is not eliminated even by retrials, data-reading is performed at the next address S3. When the data D (S3) has an error, a flag ERR at the address S3 is set to 1, but since the flag ERR at the precedent address S2 is also set to 1, retrial is not performed, and reading is performed at the next address S4. Thus, when there are errors at consecutive reading addresses, retrial is omitted.
