Abstract:
PURPOSE:To shorten the processing time by processing the display of stored information, which is retrieved from a storage means, on a display means and the recording output from a recording means in parallel. CONSTITUTION:Picture information outputted from an optical disk device 22 is decoded by an encoding and decoding circuit 46. This decoded picture information is not only transferred to and stored in a page memory 30b but also stored in a display memory 32 through an expanding and reducing circuit 42 by a parallel processing circuit 40, and this information is transferred to a printer 52. Picture information stored in the display memory 32 is displayed on a CRT display device 18 successively line by line. Picture information transferred to the printer 52 is recorded out by the printer 52. That is, storage to the page memory 30b, display on the display device 18, and recording-out from the printer 52 are performed in parallel.
