Abstract:
PURPOSE:To stabilize the tracking performance by changing the gain of a tracking control loop in a drop-out detection mode and therefore preventing a tracking error which is caused by the drop-out, etc. CONSTITUTION:The record of a disk 1 is read out by a fly lead 13 and a signal detecting circuit 15. When a drop-out is detected by a drop-out detecting circuit 23, an analog switch 17 of a tracking control loop is switched by the detection output of the circuit 23. Then the gain of the tracking control loop is changed or this control loop is cut. Thus the tracking control loop has no reply to the shrinkage-shaped noise signal obtained when the drop-out is produced. This prevent the generation of a tracking error and stabilizes the tracking performance.
