Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store information obtained from the Internet to a recording medium as image data and to record the information obtained from the Internet as digital image data and a video signal with respect to a URL preset by the user from a recording start time preset by the user over a video recording end time.
SOLUTION: The information terminal is provided with an image data conversion section 37 that converts a video image signal in a video signal into an image signal and with an external interface 38 that provides an output of image data after conversion to a driver 39 of a recording medium, and also with a timer control section 36 that stores a video recording start time and end time and a URL desired by the user, allows the device to connect to a communication network through a telephone line 24 at the video recording start time to receive data from the set URL, allows the device to convert the data into a video signal, to provide an output of the converted signal to a video tape recorder 9, disconnects the telephone line 24 at the video recording end time and stops the video tape recorder 9.
