When transmitting information from the information transmitter 200 to the information receivers 100a and 100b positioned around it, the medium vibration signal of a first frequency higher than an audible frequency is intermittently generated as a clock, and the medium vibration signal of a second frequency higher than the audible frequency, which is different from the first frequency, is intermittently generated corresponding to the data of a transmission object according to the clock. The receivers 100a and 100b detect the medium vibration signal of the first frequency higher than the audible frequency as the clock, detect the medium vibration signal of the second frequency higher than the audible frequency, which is different from the first frequency, as the data, and reproduce the data on the basis of the detected result of the medium vibration signal of the first frequency and the detected result of the medium vibration signal of the second frequency.
