Abstract:

To suppress the power consumption of an information wiring board itself by shifting or releasing the operation of the information wiring board to a power saving operation mode according to the condition of an connected apparatus.

By an operation switch 8 when TA2 as an information apparatus of which electric power is supplied from a power supply part 7 in the information wiring board 1, a home network adapter 3, CS, BS/UV booster 5, or ETHERNET hub 6 is not used when going out or going to bed, a power saving operating signal for shifting it to the power saving operating mode is inputted to a cutoff circuit 43. The cutoff circuit 43 restricts electric power supplied to all the information apparatuses from the power supply part 7 and shifts it to the power saving operating mode to suppress the power consumption of the information wiring board 1.
