To provide an infrared camera capable of performing correction processing during operation, without interrupting imaging of an object.
The infrared camera 16 employs an electric heat cable with a width of one pixel to several pixels, an LED (Light-Emitting Diode) or an LD (Laser Diode) in one-dimension arrangement as a heat source for correction processing. While the output of pixels of a column reflected by the heat source 15 is replaced by the output of adjacent pixels to generate a video signal of an object 1, a thermally uniform plane by the heat source 15 is imaged, and the value is recorded. Since a correction value is calculated, based on the recorded value, correction processing can be carried out without interruption imaging of the object 1.
