Title:
INFRARED SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013044595
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an infrared sensor capable of improving sensitivity without changing a view angle, a number of detection areas, or size.

An infrared sensor comprises: a multi-split lens 1 having a plurality of lenses 10 combined on one curved surface, and in which a focal position is the same for all the lenses; and an infrared detection element 2 disposed at a position nearer to the multi-split lens 1 than the focal position. Further, the infrared sensor includes an optical element 3 disposed between the multi-split lens 1 and the infrared detection element 2. The optical element 3 is designed to have capability for refracting infrared rays which are inclining towards a normal line at the center of a surface on a multi-split lens 1 side of the infrared detection element 2, out of infrared rays incoming from the respective lenses 10, so that an angle formed against the normal line is decreased to make the infrared rays incident on the infrared detection element 2.
