Abstract:
To provide an ink amount determination method evaluating an appropriate ink amount.SOLUTION: An ink amount determination method of the present invention comprises: a first step of printing a plurality of color patches 42 having densities different from one another onto thermal transfer paper 40 by discharging ink onto the thermal transfer paper 40 as a medium; a second step of transferring an image of the color patched 42 printed onto the thermal transfer paper 40 to a transfer medium 44; and a third step of determining an ink amount of the thermal transfer paper 40 on the basis of the color patches 42 selected according to reading and comparison results of a patch image 41 transferred to the transfer medium 44 by both of a transfer surface and a rear surface being an opposite side to the transfer surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
