Abstract:
The present invention provides an ink application apparatus capable of reducing a processing time during ink application. According to the present invention, a moving mechanism moves one of an application object and an inkjet head relative to the other so that an impact point of ink to the application object moves on a surface of the application object. A control device controls the inkjet head and the moving mechanism. While moving one of the application object and the inkjet head with respect to the other, the ink reaches an edge region along the edge of an application region to form an edge portion made of ink in the edge region. In addition, after the edge portion is formed, the ink is applied to an inner region surrounded by the edge unit while moving one of the application object and the inkjet head to the other at a movement speed faster than a movement speed at the time of forming the edge portion.
