PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition having excellent water resistance and dispersibility in aqueous medium, a base metal pigment dispersion liquid and a method of producing the same.SOLUTION: An ink composition according to the present invention comprises a base metal pigment subjected to surface treatment using a fluorine-based compound, water, a first solvent with an SP value of 13.5 cal/cmor more and 16.5 cal/cmor less, and a second solvent with an SP value of 9 cal/cmor more and less than 13.5 cal/cm.
