Abstract:

To provide an ink composition having high solubility in water and having a hue and clarity suitable for inkjet recording.

The ink composition contains both of at least one compounds represented by formula (1) [wherein, R1is alkyl or the like; R2and R3are each independently hydroxy, carboxy-substituted monoalkylamino or the like] or salts thereof, and a tetrazo-based compound having a specific structural formula or a salt thereof as coloring matters.
