The ink discharge head includes: a plurality of discharge ports 24 for discharging ink and the coating resin layer 2 with an ink passage 27 communicated with each of the plurality of discharge ports 24. The ink discharge head also includes: a heater element that discharges ink; and a heater board 1 on which the coating resin layer 2 is provided. On a side surface of a peripheral edge of the coating resin layer 2, a crack induction pattern 3 to alleviate stress occurring on the interface between the coating resin layer 2 and the heater board 1 is formed.
