Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finely adjust an applied amount of ink to an ink fountain roller by a method wherein a reference position-adjusting operation to the ink fountain roller of a split blade is simply and quickly carried out.
SOLUTION: A driving means 16 is composed of a support frame 17, an eccentric cam 22, a driving shaft 24, bevel gears 27, 28, etc., and the eccentric cam 22 is abutted against the rear end surface of a slit blade urged backward by a compression spring. The driving shaft 24 is rotated integrally with a driving gear 29 at a specific position, and connected thereto so that the driving gear 24 is allowed to move axially. A reference position adjusting screw 40 revolving at the specific position is fitted by thread to the tapped hole 37 of the working component integrated with the support frame 17. The gear mechanism 46 of an ink application amount adjusting means is engaged with the driving gear 29. The reference position is adjusted by advancing and retreating the working component 35, the driving means 16, and the split blade 5 to the ink fountain roller by revolving operation of the reference position adjusting screw 40 without releasing engagement of the gear mechanism 46 with the driving gear 29.
