Title:
INK JET RECORDER AND INK JET RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3913062
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet recorder in which a significant difference is prevented from occurring in the density or color tone of a recorded image before and after restore processing by controlling the head temperature, lowered through the restore processing in the way of recording, to the level before the restore processing by a relatively simple head temperature control.
SOLUTION: Temperatures Ta1-Ta12 of twelve recording heads are detected (S101), average temperature Tave of respective head temperatures Tb1-Tb12 at the time of suction restore processing (S102, S103) is determine (S104). Following to the suction restore processing (S105), respective recording heads are heated until the average temperature is reached (S106, S107) and imaging is resumed when each head has reached the average temperature (S108). Since the target temperature of temperature control can be limited only to the average temperature Tave, temperature control is simplified.
