Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus constituted so as to be able to prevent a cap holder from breaking away from a slider, which constitutes a capping means, in a horizontal direction to ensure the normal operation of the capping means.
SOLUTION: The cap holder 21 having a cap member 22 formed thereto is mounted on the slider 26 constituting the capping means 9. A columnar support member 30 is formed to the slider so as to be turned upwardly and a pair of locking members 40, which surrounds the columnar support member 3 formed to the slider from both outsides to be locked with the support member 30, are formed to the cap holder. A pair of the locking members 40 act as so as to prevent the cap holder 2 from breaking away from the slider 26 in a horizontal direction.
