PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of highly precise color images by forming ink flow conduits and ink liquid chambers through joint of a substrate and a roof, and forming an recess for separating rows of ink ejection ports, and allowing the depth of the recess to be deeper than the ink ejection ports and ink flow conduits.
SOLUTION: The roof 1 includes precisely worked ink flow conduits, ink liquid chamber frames, and ink ejection ports 5, and substrates 4 having resistive heating elements are processed and secured to the rood 1 through resilient members 3, then ribs 9 are provided on a recess 6 defined in its central portion. Besides, the rood 1 is formed such that resin or the like is molded integrally having ink ejection ports between two rows of the ejection ports and the deeper recess than the ink flow conduits, thereby allowing the ink ejection parts corresponding to each substrate of the rood 1 to deformed readily every substrate, and improving a contact state between the substrate 4 and the rood 1. Also, ribs 9 are made at both the recess 6 ends of the roof 1 so as to form the roof 1 with no ribs to easily be defined, as a result, the adhesion can be improved.
