Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording head which can rationalize a setting man-hour by preventing wrong insertion at a setting time and can improve the welding yield by improving the molding accuracy.
SOLUTION: There are provided a head body 11 for discharging ink drops, and a head holder 12 to which the head body 11 is set, and an ink cartridge 2 is mounted. A plurality of ink supply needles 13 for receiving the supply of ink from the ink cartridge 2 are set erecting to the head holder 12. Roots 31 of the plurality of ink supply needles 13 are coupled and formed integrally. Fitting projections 27 are set to coupling parts 19 of the coupled ink supply needles 13, and moreover, parts 28 to which the fitting projections 27 are to be fitted are formed to points corresponding to the fitting projections 27 of the head holder 12. Even when a total shape of the coupled ink supply needles 13 is asymmetric, the presence of the fitting projections 27 facilitates discerning directions at the setting time and can surely prevent the wrong insertion.
