Abstract:
To provide an ink jet recording sheet of superior ink absorbability and drying properties used for obtaining a good image and provided with the superior gloss on an ink acceptive layer.
An ink jet recording sheet is provided with a lower layer containing a water-dispersing resin of 70 wt.% or more at least on one face of a substrate as a laminated paper formed of a paper base on which a thermoplastic resin is laminated or a thermoplastic resin film wrapping fine voids therein and also an ink acceptive layer containing an aqueous resin 40 wt.% or more, and the glossiness of the surface of the ink acceptive layer is 70% or more.
