Title:
INK FOR INK JET AND REDUCTION OF AEROSOL IN INK JET PRINTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3889099
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink used for ink jet printing, containing a viscoelastic polymer, and capable of reducing the occurrence of aerosols during the printing, suitably controlling the viscosity of the ink and improving the quality of the printed products.
SOLUTION: This ink comprises (A) one or more of dyestuffs such as food black 2 preferably in an amount of 0.1-4wt.%, and (B) an aqueous solvent containing a diol such as diethylene glycol preferably in an amount of 3-20wt.%. Therein, one or more of viscoelastic polymers such as the mixture of polyacrylamide with a viscoelastic polymer preferably in an amount of 5-10ppm is added to the ink.
