PURPOSE: To reduce the use amt. of a resin and to reduce the generation of harmful gas at the time of disposal incineration by forming a case wall from a plate material obtained by laminating a resin layer to paper and the resin reinforcing material feinforcing the plate material on the inner surface side thereof and having a guide member integrally provided thereto.
CONSTITUTION: An unwiding core having an ink ribbon R wound therearound, a taking-up core 2 and a plurality of guide rollers guiding the delivered ink ribbon R to the taking-up core 2 through a guide member 7 are provided in an ink ribbon cassette case 3. The case is constituted of a pair of case walls 4, 5 mutually opposed in the lateral direction of the ribbon so as to hold the ink ribbon R therebetween and a case surrounding wall 6. In this case, each of the case walls 4, 5 is formed from a member 15 wherein a resin layer 14 is laminated to paper 13 and the reinforcing material 16 reinforcing the inner surface of the plate material 15. The reinforcing material 16, the guide member 7 and the case surrounding wall 6 are molded using a resin in the state unified with the resin layer 14 of the plate material 15.
