Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink ribbon cassette which allows a user to confirm print number information of an ink ribbon in the ink ribbon cassette state, and a print system.SOLUTION: An ink ribbon cassette 100 is composed of: an ink ribbon 101 in which a plurality of colors of ink are arranged planarly sequentially in a plurality of cycles and a portion with a base film only is provided between the cycles; and housings 102, 103, 104 which pivotally support a take-up bobbin and a supply bobbin and are configured to cover the outer side except for a portion of the ink ribbon. In a thermal printer which includes: a printing part capable of transferring ink of the ink ribbon 101 to a recording medium; and print number information reading means reading the print number information of the ink ribbon cassette, the printing part records the print number information newly set from the information from the print number information reading means in a base film of the ink ribbon after termination of a printing process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
