Abstract:
To provide an ink ribbon which can efficiently remove a foreign matter adhering to a second heating body in an information leak preventive thermal transfer system.
The ink ribbon includes: an ink ribbon body part having a substrate layer, and an ink layer provided in one surface of the substrate layer;an end reader part provided at the end edge of a feed part side; and a start reader part provided in the end edge of a winding part side. A cleaning ribbon is provided in the end reader part and/or the start reader part.
