To provide, in the field of the full color printing art, ink having higher reproducibility in the region of green and capable of forming images excellent in vividness, transparent feeling and contrast.
The ink is featured in that the peaks of the absorption spectrum of the ink have the following four characteristics: (1) at least one peak of the absorption spectrum exists between wavelengths ≥390 nm and <450 nm; (2) no absorption spectrum peak exists between wavelengths ≥450 nm and <610 nm; (3) at least one peak of the absorption spectrum exists between wavelengths ≥610 nm and <680 nm; and (4) 7>A/B>2, wherein A indicates a value of the absorption spectrum peak that exists between wavelengths ≥390 nm and <450 nm and B indicates the sum of a value of the absorption spectrum peak that exists between wavelengths ≥610 nm and <680 nm and a value at the shoulder portion.
