This ink set is composed of an aqueous black pigment ink composition and at least one kind of aqueous pigment ink composition having other color than black, wherein it is characterized in that the aqueous black pigment ink composition contains pigment, polyethyleneimine, (2-phenoxyethyl methacrylate)-styrene copolymer and water, and the aqueous pigment ink composition having other color than black contains pigment, styrene-acrylic acid copolymer and water.
