Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus and an inkjet recording method which suppress density unevenness at a recording start position in an image.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus records an image on the basis of recorded data by causing a recording head to scan in a going direction and a returning direction with respect to a unit region of a recording medium. After a recording start position of a region in which an image is to be recorded after several regions in which no image is to be recorded in a scanning direction is shifted downward in the scanning direction than a predetermined region, the inkjet recording apparatus records an image on the predetermined region during scanning in the direction opposite to the scanning direction.
