Abstract:
To provide an inkjet recording method excellent in image preservability.
Immediately when or after an inkjet ink having a dye solved or dispersed in a water-based solvent is printed imagewise on an image receiving material, a film forming liquid containing a polymer material is imparted on the printed image. In this case, it is preferable that a compound with an oxidation potential of the dye higher than 1.0 V (vs SCE) is used, a water-soluble polymer rich in oxygen interception properties is used as the polymer material, and a porous image receiving material containing a mordant is used as the image-receiving material.
