Title:
INKJET RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007021925
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an inkjet recording method which enables a printing image with excellent water resistance, resistance to scuffing and feeling of gloss to be formed in an optical recording medium such as CD or DVD.

This inkjet recording method is to make a colored ink containing a coloring material and a transparent ink not containing a coloring material adhere to a printable region for the optical recording medium with at least an optical recording layer formed on a light transmitting substrate, with the help of an inkjet recording process. The transparent ink contains not less than one kind of cationic substance selected from the group consisting of a cationic resin and a cationic surfactant. In addition, the transparent ink can contain a luminescent substance which has no absorptive wavelength in a visible light region and shows a luminescence in a visible light region under a specific light source. Thus the transparent ink is effective for forgery prevention in the recording medium.
