PURPOSE: To realize fuel injection control favourable in shortage of fuel at the time of finishing fuel injection regardless of a driving condition of an internal combustion engine.
CONSTITUTION: A fuel passage 32 communicating with a spill valve 62 and a fuel injection nozzle is provided on a rotor 30. Plungers 40a, 40b are inserted into a pressure chamber 34 communicating with the fuel passage 32. A roller 42a is provided in contact with the plungers 40a, 40b. A cam ring main body 54 having a cam with a specified interval on the inner periphery and roller guides 52a, 52b having inclination along a taper of the roller 42a are provided on the outer periphery of the roller 42a. A stroke amount of the plungers 40a, 40b is decreased by introducing hydraulic pressure to hydraulic pressure chambers 58a, 58b in the case when a load of an engine is low.
