Title:
INORGANIC MATERIAL AND MOLDED PRODUCT USING SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01313354
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a porcelain molded product having superior thermal and physical shock resistances by molding and calcining an inorg. material made of a compsn. obtd. by blending an Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 mineral with kaolin and zinc oxide in a specified ratio.

CONSTITUTION: This inorg. material is made of a compsn. obtd. by blending 50-95 pts.wt. Li2O-Al2O3-SiO2 mineral with 3-45 pts.wt. kaolin and 2-20 pts.wt. zinc oxide so that the total amt. becomes 100 pts.wt. The inorg. material is molded into a desired shape and calcined to form a porcelain molded product having A1,000kg/cm2 bending strength and ≤1.5×10-6/°C coefft. of thermal expansion.
