Abstract:
PURPOSE: To strengthen a dynamic range characteristic for an inputted strength/ weakness signal by providing a band pass filter constituted of respective reception signal bands or a variable tuning circuit and low noise amplifier controlling an automatic gain in the front end of an IC tuner and setting signal interference owing to an interruption signal and mix modulation to be a minimum. CONSTITUTION: The band pass filter 90 is divided into several reception bands, the UHF band, the VHF low band/high band of a TV signal, for example. Band switching is executed by a switching circuit or it is constituted of the variable tuning band pass filter. The low noise amplifier 100 is constituted by wide band LAN covering all the reception signal bands or it improves the wide band pass characteristic for the strength/weakness signal in accordance with an automatic gain control signal. A desired reception signal outputted from the band pass filter 90 is inputted to the wide band pass low noise amplifier 100. Since the amplifier 100 supplies the strength/weakness reception signal to the input terminal of the IC tuner 200 in the wide band, the IC tuner 200 issues a stable IF output signal.
