The input supporting device to support the input operation at a joy stick 11 installed on a steering wheel 10 of a vehicle is equipped with a correcting means to correct the operating direction information to exhibit the operating direction of the joy stick 11 on the basis of the rotating amount and direction of the steering wheel 10 sensed by a steering angle sensor 13, wherein the correcting means is configured consisting of a CPU 2, and a correction is conducted so that the operating direction which the information exhibits is identical to the direction in which a movement takes place for the rotating amount of the steering wheel 10 in the rotating direction thereof 10.
